
HOLMES COUNTY, Fla. (WTVY) – Holmes County, Florida, Sheriff John Tate said he will survey damage caused by a tornado from the air on Saturday afternoon.
He said initial reports indicate the twister inflicted damage on a few homes and caused what Tate described as minor injuries.
A person in the Esto area told WTVY News4 he received reports that winds destroyed a barn in the Bethlehem community and roads, including Florida Highway 79, were blocked by downed trees.

Several unexpected tornadoes popped up on Saturday, though severe thunderstorms had been in the forecast.
Electric companies in several counties along the Alabama and Florida state line, with some stretching northward into Dothan.
